FITTING METHODS
The beginning of a hair system starts with selecting a “Fitting Method.” The point of a wig fitting is to acquire the individuals head size, shape, etcetera. This step is very important and plays a big part in creating a hair system that looks natural. There are several ways to measure for a wig. Some methods are more preferred than others but we will cover the ones we accept.
CUSTOM MOLD
A template made using Saran wrap and scotch tape is the most common and effective way of providing a “Fitting Method” for a custom order.
DUPLICATE A UNIT
Current and previous hair system wearers have the option of sending us a hair system previously worn for our technicians to acquire the size data needed.
MEASURE
Providing measurements of the balding areas can also be used as a “fitting method”. It requires specific areas to be measured and recorded.
